In our team for control unit software and hardware development, your tasks will include:

  • Specification and design of control unit software
  • Embedded software implementation on current microcontrollers and DSPs
  • Software integration
  • Testing and commissioning of software and control units

Your profile

  • You have a degree with a focus on electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science or something similar.
  • You have in-depth programming skills in C and a solid understanding of microcontroller peripheral circuits.
  • You have experience in using operating systems (RTOS, OSEK) and drivers (SPI, I2C, RS232, Ethernet, CAN, Flexray), ideally on MicroChip dsPIC, Freescale MPC 55XX/56XX, Infineon XC, TriCore or ARM controllers.
  • Ideally, you have initial experience with the implementation and code generation of real-time capable open-loop and closed-loop control algorithms from MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow.
  • You have knowledge of software quality assurance, software development processes (V-Model, SPICE) and AUTOSAR architecture concepts.
  • We assume that you will be able to use PCs and standard software (MS Office) and have the appropriate written and spoken German and English skills.

  • Circuit simulation and design
  • Creation of circuit board layout
  • Testing and commissioning of control units with software

Your profile:

  • You have a degree with a focus on electrical engineering, mechatronics or something similar.
  • You have a solid understanding of microcontroller peripheral circuits (analog and digital) and their simulation.
  • You have relevant knowledge of electronics development tools (e.g. SPICE, ALTIUM Designer).
  • You have experience in dealing with SPI, I2C, RS232, Ethernet, CAN, FlexRay and C programming of microcontrollers such as MicroChip dsPIC, Freescale MPC 55XX/56XX, Infineon XC, TriCore.
  • You have knowledge of electronics small series production and quality assurance.
  • We assume that you will be able to use PCs and standard software (MS Office) and have the appropriate written and spoken German and English skills.
