In today's e-mobility platforms of cars and commercial vehicles, various auxiliary units such as electric air conditioning compressors for thermal conditioning or electric air compressors for pneumatic systems are required. These auxiliary units are operated in the HV voltage range between 400 and 800 V.
adcos has been developing and producing customized ECUs with integrated power electronics up to 10 kW for several years. The system-specific ECUs are usually mounted directly on the electric motor. Specially developed and tested sensorless field-oriented control algorithms are used for operation, which guarantee energy-optimized control of the respective electric motor.
