In the field of modern control engineering, we specialize in the use of powerful model-based controller and observer algorithms. We have many years of practical experience in this area and have specially developed, MATLAB-based tools for model-based design and analysis.

In addition to classic control methods (PID structures), we use, among other things, optimal state controllers (Riccati controllers), multivariable controllers, model predictive controllers, nonlinear controllers and state observers (linear/extended/unscented Kalman filters) and carry out corresponding stability and robustness analyses.

All control algorithms developed by adcos are integrated on the target ECU by autocode generation using MATLAB/Simulink or dSPACE TargetLink.
