Fully active chassis control
A fully active chassis is available in the current Audi A8 / S8, which enables the wheel-selective dynamic change of the vertical forces via its electromechanical actuators, so that the vertical and rolling dynamics of the vehicle body can be controlled in a targeted manner.
The electromechanical actuators were specially developed for Audi AG by OVALO and adcos and are currently in series production.
In this context, adcos was responsible for all software components of the system function and functional safety.
These were developed with dSPACE TargetLink as AUTOSAR software components and integrated into the Audi MLBevo platform. The software development as well as the verification and validation took place according to Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262 (ASIL-C).
